I was born and raised in Lancaster PA by my Latvian parents. They immigrated to the USA fleeing Latvia during WWII.

I spent over 37 years in the grocery supply chain industry and when I retired I re-channeled my energy to art.

Creativity and various arts have always been an influence in my life with my grandmother's intricate crewel embroidery and crocheting, my mother's painting and love of art, and my father's arhitectural drawing and wood working skills.

I enjoy the peace of the nature around me, it's simplicity and complexity, and capturing all the colors that surround us.
